  • Rimba Ilmu Botanic Garden – The Forest of Knowledge, a tropical botanical garden in the University of Malaya campus, Kuala Lumpur, is world-renowned for its extensive collection of rare and indigenous tropical flora of the Malaysian and Indonesian region. Established in 1974 and occupying an area of 80 hectares, it is one of our country’s most visited and a pre-eminent center for learning, conservation and plant research with its own Environmental Education Programme.   • Wikipedia on the Penang Botanic Gardens – Founded in 1884, the ‘Waterfall Gardens’ as popularly known, is Malaysia’s only unique natural heritage, sprawling an area of 242 hectares in Penang Island. World-esteemed, it is a centre for botany and conservation, horticulture and landscaping, education and research. Its magnificent Gardens are magnets for tourism and recreation. Know more and be fascinated by exploring its comprehensive and impressive site.

There are other very much-visited gardens, such as the Lake Gardens, Orchid Garden and Hibiscus Garden in Kuala Lumpur and Other States that are very popular destinations for tourists and locals alike. Sorry though, so far we have not found any favourite links that are impressive enough to share here.
